Pumpkin Carving!
Sunday we carved pumpkins & then had a fire in our fire pit. Here are all the kids with their pumpkins. Collin, Simeon, Kaylee, Isaiah, Elias & Kyler - all had different ideas for their pumpkins, making them all come out wonderfully!
Mimi Visits
It's been a BUSY weekend for the Probst familie(s)!
Mimi (Jason's mom) came from MN for a visit. After football on Saturday, we went out to eat and then to the non-scary Haunted Trail. Simeon (turned sideways) was Jango Fett, Collin said he was "fancy man," Kaylee was an Illini Cheerleader, Elias was Boba Fett, Kyler was Spiderman, and Isaiah was Darth Vader. We had a lot of fun!

Here are the 4 of us...Elias, Isaiah, Kristi & Simeon at Rader's Farm in Normal, IL. We went there on Columbus Day since we had the day off school. We had lots of fun. The boys played in corn (it was a corn-box instead of a sand box), hay, on a swingset, we held a rabbit, saw a mule, chickens, and lots of other animals! Elias' kindergarten teacher even joined us:)

Well, here we are in the middle (almost) of October. The weather is unseasonably warm and beautiful here in central IL. Today was a day off of school, so I took the boys to the Ropp Jersey Cheese Farm in Normal and then to the Rader's pumpkin farm. It was a fun time. They fed cows, looked at a turkey & listened to him "gobble" (though we decided it didn't really sound like a gobble!), saw a mule, held a bunny, climbed up big piles of hay, played in hay, and just got really dirty...which is Elias' favorite way to be! After running around for a while, we saw my mom...aka Grandma. It was really nice to see her. The boys are gearing up for Halloween. Simeon is going to be Jango Fett, Elias will be Boba Fett and Isaiah has decided to be Darth Vader. It just wouldn't be Halloween at the Probst home if we weren't dressing like a Star Wars character! I guess that's all I've got. I'll post some pictures, if I can figure out how to do it:). Other than that, nothing really new to report.

First Blog
Well, this is my first blog outside of the one I did for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk. I don't have a whole lot to say, really, but I can fill you in on the big happenings around here today. Simeon lost his 5th tooth. It was the top left front tooth & he pulled it himself. I was so proud of him! I'll post some pictures of the family in order to keep everyone up to date.
